Don’t Forget, New Year’s Day

Remember to pack up your kayak, Canoe, rubber floaty, or whatever you go on the water in; and bring it along to Lake Columbia on Jan, 1, 2006. We’ll paddle around a bit until we get really cold, then we’ll all head off to the local and get really warm. In this case the “local” is the world, well maybe not world,. . . City Famous Cactus Club! This is one place were you dress for the air. The water near the landing may be in the mid to upper 40′s but as you paddle closer to the powerplant the water temperature can climb into the 80s. It’s hard to guess what the Air temp will be like, but 0 – 30F or Below seems like a reasonable range. Yeah, we may get lucky and have 75 and sunny, but I’m sort of doubting it.

See you there!
