Jellyfish, Seals & Sea Creatures

Gotta run, gotta run! Before I can head out this morning to go play in the pool I’ve got to give my boat a quick bath. So. . . That means that today I’m sending you off on a trip to. . . . oh, well, since Alex is picking on me for my anglophile ways, let’s go back over the sea to the Anglesey Sea Kayaking Photo Gallery. In addition to Jellyfish, Seals & Sea Creatures maybe we’ll see a Rockpool as well! Oh, and if you happen to be FROM that part of the world and can’t bear another picture of your front yard. . . here’s a gallery from the Outer Fox Island, Georgian Bay, Ontario. Better? Oh, and if you happen to be from Ontario. . .

Although I make fun of you, I’m sure if I was sitting on some godforsaken beach shaking with hypothermia, I’d gladly take a cup of Earl Gray from your BCU thermos! God, I love those Rockpool stars. I can imagine that the paint scheme would make gelcoat repairs a little more tricky though.

I thought you were kidding about the pool session. Are you going to the outdoor motel pool or is it an indoor one?

Just got back. Pulled off a few reverse sweeps in the ww boat. Then I did my first “crook of the elbow” rolls. That was cool. Lastly I was doing shotguns with the paddle end placed in the crook of the elbow instead of the arm pit. Not sure if there is a name for that or not, just thought I’d try it and it seems about the same as a shotgun. You just have to hold the paddle tight into your arm. Fun day!
