Muskrat Love

And now he’s ticklin’ her fancy, rubbin’ her toes
Muzzle to muzzle now, anything goes
As they wiggle and Sue starts to giggle

And they whirled and they twirled and they tangoed
Singin’ and jinglin’ the jango
Floatin’ like the heavens above
It looks like muskrat love – ramsey

The changing of the clock is always an important milestone around here. It means we have an extra hour on the water. And this is a really, big deal. It means we won’t have to load up in the dark. . No. Strike that. We’ll just load in the dark an hour later. What am I thinking?

Here’s hoping the kids in Milwaukee get out on the water today. I’m pretty jazzed to go out and play myself.

Here is a quick picture of my warhorse. An olive branch. He’s been pretty much ignored over the last couple months as I’ve enjoyed my new affair with the Acuta. But she’s party girl, I would’nt quite trust her in tough times. Not yet, anyway. Now with the ice out and journeys ahead the explorer will be coming along much more often.

Remember that post from a few days ago where I asked if kayaks get jealous? Well, I got an answer to that. She said, “not as long as they have time to cuddle”. Good thing the Acuta and the Explorer sleep side by side!
