First Put In

From Josh:

Rotem has been paddling for three straight days, and has covered 190 kilometers. She will paddle about 70km. today. The weather has been mostly good. This is one hell of a spunky gal. A former ___________________, (she’s gonna kill me for saying that…), she is very determined!

Thanks for keeping us up to date!! Notice how I saved Josh’s life and tickled your curiosity at the same time?? Stay tuned. . .

Hey, Freya! Check out those mini wheels! You’ve got some competition methinks…

Do you suppose it is a rule to have a black Explorer with yellow striping when paddling around Iceland? Or is that really Shawna in disquise in those pictures? I wonder…

And for Freya, those wheels work well in everything except deep sand. You’d be amazed! :-)

  • Nabeel says:

and how much does a kayak cost?
that’s an awesome kayak in the picture !

  • derrick says:

    Hi Nabeel,

It depend on the boat anywhere from like $500 to $3500 which is about what the one in the picture would cost. Many people just start out with a used or plastic kayak, then move up as they can or as their skills improve.

    Glad you stopped by! :)
