where’s derrick??

Another fun “in” the waves shot from Lake Michigan. I wonder if Lendal would consider this a good promo shot?? (click to enlarge)

We of course had a great time at Kayak Week in Two Rivers. Great Food, (thanks Phil), Great conversations, lots of paddling and a weird beer called KUL, pronounced “cool”. Mary calls it slightly alcoholic 7-up. Two Rivers is the only town I know of with a kayak flower planter on almost every corner. Current Designs has been working with Phil to decorate the town in CD kayaks. CD’s make great flower pots!! (take that as you may. . . ) Since this is my only day back before I head out to Inland Sea tomarrow, the gallery will have to wait. :) Lot’s of nice pictures of all our friends from the great white north coming next week.

Cheers!

Hey, here is wisconsin it seems like almost EVERYONE paddles a CD so. . I’m used to it. :) Besides, it was’nt my idea to turn them into flower pots!!

  • Freya Hoffmeister says:

…actually, Wendy realized that already…but will carry on paddeling her “flower pot” unless she’ll be done with the rock – then she might be creatively (ab-)using it…and get a rudderless and fun to edge kayak :-)

  • FH2O says:
