Just like saturday afternoon
Today the thunder and lightning chased our afternoon classes off the water. We ran to the coffee shop and I took a moment to check email. I wanted to be sure to tell you that Rotem Ron’s Expedition log is now up online. http://www.seakayak.co.il/icelandMap/icelandRoute.htm. I just got a chance to have a look and it’s really well done. Shawna Franklin (another coffee addict) had a quick read over my shoulder and of course wishes Rotem all the best on her adventure. Shawna and Leon did their presentation last night on their 2003 trip with Chris Duff. Needless to say they have a unique perspective on the challenge. They also took time to mention Rotem’s trip to the group as well.
Today’s picture is of Kelly Blades doing interesting things with his P&H Capella 163. Tomorrow is our last day on the water before heading home. I get to teach “paddling potpourri”. Which means, “whatever you want to do for a couple hours”. Fun, Fun.

Strange world… I left the rain and lightning of the symposium and came to the same coffee shop to check e-mail and read today’s blog post.
