Well, it’s about that time again. That time when the women leave all of us strange male types home and gather for their own Sea Kayak Symposium. (Wenley may be purchasing a spyglass and a plane ticket as I write this. . .) The third annual Ladies of the Lake Sea Kayak Symposium will take place August 17-20 at St. Ignace Michigan. Guest Speakers include Cheri Perry, Glenna O’Doul and Jesse Hadley. In another un-related note: I have to wish Freya, Dubside and the gang all the best at the 2006 National Kayaking Championship in Sisimiut, Greenland. (blog) Now I know kayakers are all nice, friendly, non-competitive types. . . But here’s hoping Freya kicks some. . . . .! )
