We were talking about this once. . “Would’nt it be a rush to take your kayak down a waterslide?!!” Ah, it’s been done!
Have you noticed a few new “informational” kayak websites are now online. Have a look;

Yep, that’s two “Wikis”. WikiPaddle focuses mainly on destinations whereas KayakWiki is much more geared toward builders and gear.
. . . and then there’s this from SeeKajakForum.de . . “How suitable and effective are 1-3 condoms as protection for your electronics?” Something I’m sure we’ve all wondered from time to time. . .Whaddya think?

Awesome! Sounds even more wild than going off the high-dive board in a kayak, something I’d be happy to do again given the chance. And I won’t get caught this time either. I’ll be wearing my all-black Reed ‘Stealth’ jacket.

Now that scares me. I have access to a diving board I could try that on, but for some reason it gives me the willies!

I did manage to start a play sesion at the end of last nights wee paddle. in the bay in the dark as we got back, think the water is about bath temperature at the moment. wellies full of warm water, marvellous!

Hey Derrick, when I first watched others going off the high dive I too was chicken. Then I couldn’t resist. It was totally fun. I recommend using an older poly boat as someone has to lift your stern to help you off and glass boats make odd sounds when doing that… As for the Reed, I’ve worn Reed gear for almost two years now. All black, of course!
So it was YOU all along. . Now we know who Freya was watching!!
