th first little bit looks good, but its taking a long time to load and the child is moaning to get on the pc, . , will return tomorrow to check it out when I have some peace and quiet!! I didn’t get out kayaking last night which is a bit dissapointing as I think it was the last club night of the year, getting too dark after work now. if its nice weather next Monday we could go out with lights on but it depends who is there.
I have high speed, but the video is loading automatically. Could be a problem for modem users. You might want to move the link to another page and warn about the bandwith.
Does anyone else have a problem with the highly compressed quality of YouTube. I find the videos there unwatchable.
Cool boats. I’ve seen people paddle them in Wales. They look a little wierd at first because of the higher deck. They look like they might be harder to roll, but people paddling them did not seem to have a problem rolling. I’d like to paddle one sometime, but I think the easiest way to do this is to go to Wales. Gotta love the paint job.
Derrick, it loaded quickly this morning, looks like fun? looks totally scary to me!! tides and rocks can really create interesting and changable seas, I bet the bit they’re paddling has certain times its flat calm too. I will be taking my bike to work thurs and fri. hopefully the rain will let off a bit, the car is still on a search for ‘inner healing’ and after I dropped it off yesterday(specialist garage) I had to get 2 busses home which took just over 2 hours. thats more than enough to last me a good long while so it I’ll be on two wheels until the car is fixed, or traded in?!
Hey R – stiring up trouble are you? I’m not sure I’d be having a lot of fun with the Acuta out there. too much rolling practice!! The Explorer would be a good time though.
I do wonder about that high front deck on the Alaw. Recently though I’ve heard a bit of discussion that the high deck is actually not a bad thing for forward finishing rolls?? I can’t image it, but I only have on forward roll . . .
claire – too bad about the car, but it does get you on the bike eh? Anything better than a bus. When I was a kid I rode the school bus for almost 3 hours each night. I hate busses! I’m lucky that I work at home these days. I don’t need to deal with “commutes”. Yuk!

Hi Claire,
The UTube stuff definatly needs a highspeed connection to work well. Even then it’s a bit sketchy from time to time.
I haven’t paddled for a couple days either. Just got back in from a nice bike ride though.

To provocatively answer your question Derrick – why, that’s easy – paddling an Explorer… or a Nordkapp… or an Anas Acuta..!!!
(Grin warning – tongue nearly coming out of other side of cheek!)

(Leaving tomorrow for another 9 day stint on Anglesey
