everything you got
Its in your mind so you cant walk out
Now dont get stuck
Stuck in a loop again
Well youre gonna get stuck
Stuck in a loop again

And now for something completely different. In those late sleepless nights of yours do you ever end up wondering what happens when a clinical social worker makes a documentary of the Watertribe Ultimate Challenge?? Yeah, it’s been keeping me up at night too! Weird isn’t it!? So here’s the solution; First we need to read more. So a trip over to Dawn’s blog is in order. I can imagine the work producer Jenning Gee put into this and she deserves some attention for it. Next we can run over to the WaterTribe Store and buy the video. The Ultimate Florida Challenge 2006 DVD is just $24.95 and will certainly make a few dark, lonely, winter nights go by a bit faster.
Yikes! Thursday all ready? Arggg. Well, coming up I have a promised closer look at the new Reed Cag I received a couple weeks back. And in a related post, a talk about emergency hatch covers. Then we’ve got a look at an innovative new kayak design coming out of Canada, and the answer to this question; “What does the “$400 million dollar paddling industry” really mean?” and more. . . So much stuff and only one tiny little blog. . .
Have a great day! Really. Someone should. Why not you!??

I’ll have a good day when I am good and ready to have a good day, and no one is going to push me into it
Loved the “roll with all my garbage” clip.
“All I need to roll with are these splits. That’s all I need in the world are these splits…and this norsaq! Yeah, that’s it. Just the splits and the norsaq…and this storm paddle! That’s it. That’s all I need to roll with.”
…Maybe it should be called “The Jerk” roll.

Hilarious!! Now, that I think about it, I want to go back and see if I can add my other GP and my spare euro. . . hmmm, I have another Norsaq too. Maybe I can hold that in my mouth.
Uh, just to clarify for those that don’t remember the 70′s…Don’t think I’m calling Derrick a jerk.
From the movie, The Jerk with Steve Martin:

Last winter the Challenge racers left from Ft Desoto just after the Sweetwater Symposium ended. Several people at Sweetwater were gearing up for the race. It was very exciting – you could feel their energy pulsing, they were so up for it. I’m glad that a video was made of the race. That it was done at the amateur level is even more interesting. Can’t wait for my copy!
