A thing of beauty is a joy forever – keats

Now here’s a news flash. . . . First time on the water! Wow! This is Rockpool’s new “underground” Greenland style roller. Remember you’ll get your first chance to see one up close in the states at Canoecopia in just a couple months. Hey, is that a wing??

Is it the first one ever made?

It’s a beauty! Sleek and sexy!

Nice photo, sort of like those pics in Car and Driver Magazine when Chevy takes their new version Corvettes out for a spin. Spy work. I agree with Wendy, it does look interesting. Very Greenlandish. Too low volume for your expedition, perhaps, but likely a fine roller.

Speaking of paddles, Derrick and Wendy, with your blossoming sponsorships, the world awaits your primo paddle sponsorship. Hey, paddlemakers out there… get those freebies coming to Wendy and Derrick. We want to live throgh them.

Thanks CD1. That’s why you learn to hand roll, so you don’t need a paddle. :)

Actually I’ve got my nice Lendals and wouldn’t trade them in.

  • derrick says:

Yep Wendy this is number 1. Defiantly looks like a rolling machine.

    Qajammarialu tanna!

Cool — looks very low volume and kinda short. What are the specs again? I tried looking for them on the forums but couldn’t find them

  • Silbs says:

Damn, when I first looked I thought it was a SOF. Now if I sell my wife’s car and move those old tires over, maybe I can make room….

  • insolvent says:

I shouldn’t have looked at this – my credit card is still recovering from my Alaw purchase…

Is it still going to be available as a three/four piece?

  • KayakHandy says:

    Blasphemy!
Even thinking about putting those loud wave slapping plastic boats in the same league as a proper SOF!

    For shame.
