Rock on!
By the way, this is me a few years back when I was a rock n roll maniac. Yes that is a cigarette in my mouth! I smoked for years. I quit soon after I got married (for the second time mind you. . second marriage, not time quitting smoking, I quit a million times before then. . LOL!!!!) And yes every so often when the mood hits, usually when I’m drinking whiskey, I’ll still satisfy that urge. Not the only urge I like to satisfy by the way. . . That’s life.
We live, we learn, we change. . . Sometimes we listen to others when they tell us we have stupid ideas. Point taken.
So I woke up this morning feeling blacker than I’ve felt in years. And now? Feeling good. Party On!!

Welcome back my friend!
Sorta like S&G —
“Hello darkness, my old friend,
I’ve come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence”
Derrick: I enjoy your musings. That is what makes your web blog, and Wenley’s and Wendy’s, so freaking fun. Glad to see that you will keep up with the photos of raindrops in puddles, and your pub and rockin’ roll stories. They are fun.
Cool, Cooldoctor1! I guess I better start writing again, but as Wenley so poignantly put it, work gets in the way…like report cards last night for only 150 students:-0
Now I see, that strong inclination for all things black comes along way, Derrick.
The stubble, too.
All very dapper.
Thanks CD!
Hey Wendy, I’ve got another improper suggestion for you! LOL!!
Wenley, You’re right. Black was my thing long before sea kayaking. Freya and Dubside found the gear.
The stubble thing is because i can never figure out what to do with facial hair!!! So I’m always in the middle of trying something. LOL. Thanks!!
