all about nothing. . .
Ah, the early Friday morning interruption of the garbage man! I could just see running out there hands flailing in the air, "CAN YOU KEEP IT DOWN, I’M TRYING TO WRITE HERE!?!?!". Oh by the way, isn’t my paddle pretty?? Of course it’s one of those new Novorca custom paddles. If a few days, I’ll have a really cool one to show you a picture of. . stay tuned.
Long week. I’ve been battling another fun ear infection in addition to working like crazy to get most of my business stuff out of the way before I leave. buried in business meetings. . all good really, but taking a lot of time. I did manage to order a replacement for my Canon 10d that finally died. I decided on the new Canon XTI which seems to be a very nice camera. I also ordered a Blackberry so I can stay a bit more connected as I travel this year. Of course it does not work in the UK. Figures.

I just got a Canon XTI as well as last January and I love it! Good choice. Blackberries didn’t even work in North America this week, let alone England. I’m waiting for a world-wide version…
You won’t have enough time to pick blackberries…. or the energy…. :-{)
(And they don’t come into fruit for another few months anyway!)
Flippancy apart, when will you arrive on site?
Better get that ear infection cleared up before you get on an airplane!
Also, I recommend taking ear plugs to the UK with you–you should be wearing them here to with all the cold water rolling you do. Don’t want you to get “surfer’s ear”.
Rowland – I leave on the 2nd so If I read this thing right I’m arriving in Manchester at noon on the 3rd. Then I’ll be there until the 16th.
JB – Yeah, Monday I’ll go in if it’s not cleared up by then. I think I’ll end up going in though it’s not clearing up on it’s own.
Michael – I’m glad you like the camera. It looked like a better deal than the 30D. We’ll see.
I’m aiming to arrive on the Thursday afternoon – so perhaps we can go for a warm-up paddle on the Friday before the symposium starts…
