He is exactly 30 years older than you, dear Derick, and although he wouldn't know the Buttholer Surfers from Norma Zimmer on Larry Welk, he does have one thing in common with you: he still paddles. Yes, he got into paddling later in life, perhaps 60 y.o. or so. Although we noodled around when I was a kid in a 90 lb Lincoln faux birch bark 'glass canoe at the lakehouse, we never really paddled...you know, with the intention to go somewhere...until the last decade or so. He now paddles frequently in his Old Towne Adventure XL 139. Very nice. Keep the faith, and 42 spanks from Gyphon for you today.
