been there

Tomorrow morning I am heading back to Wisconsin. Today I spend my last day trying again to sort out retrieving my Trak Kayak from one of our support people. So I will be on the road for at least 6 hours. Can’t say I’m not seeing PR from every direction. The one fun bit is that now whenever I see the ocean from this island, no matter what shore, or what city, I can say. . . "been there".

Not to try and compare trips in the least, but it’s true it gives one a thrill to look down at the sea and know you’ve paddled that particular stretch of coastline. I had the same feeling in parts of Newfoundland this past July.
yeah, it’s cool to feel that sense of accomplishment.
I have the same feeling here on the isreali coast line having paddled most ,great feeling
