sticker discrimination

derrick-op

Finally I got a few minutes to browse issue 2 of Ocean Paddler Magazine. Sure I was enjoying the great articles, beautiful photos and the rest. . but then suddenly I felt overlooked. Why? Well, they included a waterproof sticker with their logo in black. Nice. Yeah, but my kayak has a black hull and almost black deck. . Now what? Don’t black hulled kayakers count? What would Freya or Shawna say?? Shouldn’t Dubside get a sticker too?? I’m thinking I better start an organization for black-hulled kayakers. We can gather for little revolutionary meetings in the basements of subversive kayak shops, buy a cheap press and make our own white stickers, and form public protests against sticker discrimination wherever we see it. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!! RIGHT ON!

Yikes! I’ve been off the water too long. . . .

. . . still though. . .

I’D like a sticker too. . .

Oh man!
