Brit different??

So here is how the BBC is trying to entice us Yanks to visit on BBC America. It’s pretty sad when you see a kayak in an ad and start wondering what kind of boat that is. Well, I think the blue one’s a Valley Skerry. . . Is he bracing with his paddle from the famous "upside down and backwards" position? Oh, if you’re interested here’s the link.
By the way Kayaking is NOT on their list of 11 Unique ways to connect with Scottish culture. . .

Derrick, it’s a shocking sham!!! It’s a studio brace, look at the way the sun is shining on the castle and the light is on the kayakers from the other side! Even in sunny Scotland we only have one sun!
At least Visit Scotland have had the decency to use a genuine seakayaking photo on its Adventure Guide brochure,

I know because I took it!

A friend of mine was sea paddling on Bara this summer – the Tourist Board were doing a sea kayak photo-shoot, including non-paddler models (we’re all too ugly) and towed fake dolphin fins – really!
LOL! Yeah they obviously were NOT on that lake.
Something weird about the scale of the yellow boat too. Your Scotland shot is really nice by the way, looks a bit chilly. I suppose I should give the link to Wilderness Scotland too http://www.wildernessscotland.com. they are the guys involved in this promotion.
The fake dolphin bit is hilarious, you’d think they’d just add them in via computer.
