Just in case you may have forgotten, Derek Hutchinson is known as the "Father" of mondern-day kayaking & kayakers have been using condoms long before they were "hip". Hey, I’m just sharing. . . EXPLODING CONDOM AND KAYAK RECORD BID. February 29th. . . what better day than to take a leap. . .

Derrick I’d just like to say that I think you have one of the best blogs there is out there. Your content is amazing and definitely current and it definitely goes without saying, educational and informative. My old blog is on your blog list “morethanyablogginedfor.blogspot.com” it no longer exists. The new one is “www.kayakingdreamin.blogspot.com” . I sure didn’t want you to have a link that wasn’t working.
The thing I like most about your work is that you appeal to such a wide audience in such an organized fashion that it is hard to leave your blog. I recommend members of our kayaking community here in Newfoundland to your blog often. One day perhaps we’ll be able to have you as a guess at our retreat held each year in May. Thank you. I really appreciate the kind words. As I mentioned in the NDK post, I’m lucky to have so many folks that jump in and contribute. Without there goodwill I’d be writing about the many varieties of squash.
Yeah, I’d love to come up to Newfoundland sometime. I hear that the only way to truly enjoy a good scotch is with a bit of 10,000 year old ice.
