There’s a lot of social time friday afternoon as people start lining up at 3pm for the 4pm opening.
I just went and hung out at the Door County Symposium Booth

Up closer to the doors it gets harder to move around. . . this is about 20 minutes before the doors open.

Valley brought a couple black boats along this year. 
They really stand out in a sport that is going color and sparkle crazy this year.

Friday evening was much busier than I expected this year. Of course it’s hard to tell if it was a bigger opening or not.  I”m sure we’ll hear more about  that later.  I took off  a bit early. I’m still fighting this cold and need to be energized for the rest of the weekend.  Starting in about 2 hours when I need to be at the Symposium booth.  I’ll try to get another post in about mid-day before my presentation at 3pm.  There is no Wifi in the building so I have to post via blackberry or run to a near by hotel lobby.
