Saturday a ban on sport fishing for Salmon has was put in place along the California coast. There is a good chance a ban on commercial fishing will soon follow.  No one is blaming the commercial fishing industry.  The culprit is probably a combination of many factors including; habitat destruction, pollution and water diversion.  No matter what the reason it’s going to be a tough season for folks who make their living from the salmon.
