So Silbs posted a video of the first time he saw his new grandson walking. . . Well, that’s the beginning. . Next thing you know they start pulling stunts like this!!!!!!!! Children as we know seem to go through waves, just plodding along, then sudden jumps. In the last few weeks Gryphon has learned to ride his bike, gotten his first stripe in Matial Arts class, learned some solid boat control (for a seven year old), and taken on the climbing wall. Kids suck in knowlege like spunges if we give them the opportunities. The worst thing we can do as parents is to hinder their growth. We need to let them take in as much as they can handle while at the same time being sure they are learning at their pace. . . and not becoming victims a parent’s ambitions. That’s our own little tightrope.
