“If anything on this graphic causes confusion, ignore the entire product.”
That quote is in the small print under a national weather tracking map of Hurricane Ike. I think it should be my motto as well. Any time you publish anything for lots of people to read, you may as well accept that that some people will like it, others won’t and some just won’t get it! Apparently the National Weather’s approach was to give up trying to explain. . . “What does what mean??. . . Oh just forget it!!”
In another unrelated story I’m starting to find a fairly organized approach to my kayak intro and progression classes which have been kindly referred to as “out of the box”. LOL! As you know, “out of the box” is just another way for saying, “WTF?” at least until people see that it actually has some merit. Then of course the next step is to outline what you’re doing. . Which I suppose means putting it back in the box, which means it’s no longer innovative, and therefore no longer worth talking about. . . ah, skip this paragraph!
And speaking of “out of the box”, you may find this interesting. Les Uhrich posted recently to the NDK owners group at Yahoo that there is a new Un-official BCU coaches group starting called “BCU Coaches of NA” (not to be confused with BCU-NA). Spurred on apparently by all the recent changes in the BCU. To find out the whys and hows contact Les at les@kayakers.net.
. . . oh, and remember, “If anything on this blog causes confusion, ignore the entire product.”

Derrick, great one; the modified version below could also be quite useful:
“If anything in the description of this financial product causes confusion, please do not invest.”
That would save many a lot of aggravation. (It’s somewhat paddling connected – there are sharks in both environments…)
Sorta like the AFLAC duck . . . whaaaaaaaat!!!
Brilliant piece D!
