Lost A Step?

Getting too deeply into paddling or any sport for us non-athletes is double-edged sword. In one sense I’m lucky. I was never into any sport in my life when I was younger. I was more into playing guitar, smoking and drinking. That’s what us rebellious types did. Now at 43 I can giggle a bit when I hear about foot ball players losing a step at 30-something. I mean, if you don’t start doing something until you are 30-something you can’t really “Lose I step”. So I’ve got one up on them!! Continue reading

Break A Leg

A win is a win.  It’s not like you’d want to get into a battle for your life againt the current and a strainer but if you did, coming home alive should be counted as a victory. Read More.

The Notes on Andrew

Slipstream

Well the lush separation unfolds you –
and the products of wealth
push you along on the bow wave
of the spiritless undying selves.
And you press on God’s waiter your last dime –
as he hands you the bill.
And you spin in the slipstream –
timeless — unreasoning –
paddle right out of the mess.
