So, a friend noted that I’ve not been posting daily recently. Sorry about that. As you know I’m heading off to Israel at the end of the month to participate in the sea kayaking symposium there. THAT means I have to get my desk cleared off at home first. There is nothing worse than leaving for a couple weeks knowing that you’ve got a whole pile of wood to split when you get back.
In addition I’m off on another local tirade as I have redeveloped our hometown homepage, BarabooNow.com. That had me up for some long nights as well. I’m also blogging for this new site (more hands in the fire). What with all the sea kayaking blogs out there these days I’m not sure how much you’ll be missing me here. It reminds me of Richard Nixion’s quote “You won’t have Nixon to kick around anymore!”. . . Well, not really. . but at least while the season slows I may not write quite EVERY day!!

Don’t underrate your kayaking blog! Yours is the only one I try to check on a daily basis out of the many that are out there. You bring a lot of insight to the subject. Keep up the good work.
