8am slipping into fog

And still I stand this very day
With a burning wish to fly away
Im still looking, looking for the summer

It was 30f when I hit the water. The fog rose and thickend until a swirling wall occluded the sun. I slipped out into the water as the loons called from somewhere beyond the wall.

It is so fantastic to be on mirror-like conditions in fog. It cuts out so much sensory stimulation, sharpening perceptions, until individual leaves, feathers, and fish wakes become significant events along the way.
A very nice image, btw, with nice color balance. What camera are you using?
p.s. Your front left buckle looks screwy.
