So here’s the thing. . .  I finally get a chance to write a bit.  Then I bring the file over here, and would’nt you know my doc won’t open!

It’s Saturday!  Today will be the busiest day at the symposium.  Hadas is a few feet away sweeping the floor.  Don’t worry, I hauled gear!!  The thing is I have to beat her here in the morning or they would’nt let me do anything!!

Lots of people are getting their first rolls or learning new ones.  I’m happy to see that.  Teaching traditional rolling here is unique.  While we are certainly focused on using the stick, there are also no preconceptions of what “traditional” should be all about.  I think this frees us up to simply teach another way of rolling without seeing it as something, “exotic”.  Well, not too exotic anyway.

 It’s Karel!! (Weather guy to the Stars!!) I say that just to drive him crazy.  That guy in the back is off to Patagonia on expediton in a few days, we’ll talk more about that later. For the moment I just thought I’d get that Calvin Klein poster shot up!  Oh, and of course . . . It’s Jeff!!

Well, it’s about time to go. Long day ahead.  Later I’ll get my notes converted and have a bit more for you.  Now it’s time to run back and change into my Reeds and get ready to hit the water.  It’s going to be quite a challenge to adjust to the Wisconsin weather when I get home.  Burrrrrrr!!
