The Front Fell Off?

You wouldn’t beleive it if I told you.  Check out this video at Kelly’s Blog.  This can’t be real!?

A Journey Takes Hayley

The power of imagination makes us infinite.
- John Muir

In February of 2009 Hayley Shepard will attempt to circumnavigate South Georgia Island by sea kayak. She will begin by heading counter-clockwise, heading into one of the most dramatic and most fearsome environments the world has to offer. Continue reading

South Georgia Chromatids

we were all basically alone / despite what all his studies had shown
that what’s mistaken for closeness / is just a case of mitosis
sure fatal doses of malcontent through osmosis
and why do some show no mercy / while others are painfully shy
tell me doctor, can you quantify?
the reason why
- andrew bird

In 2005 two teams of sea kayakers jostled to be the first to circumnavigate South Georgia Island. A “British” team consisting of Peter Bray, Nigel Dennis, Jeff Allen and Hadas Feldman (of Israel) were first to announce their intent. HD Paddling

Well there’s a place where two worlds collide
The pile of stone against the pull of the tide
You can stay with your feet on the ground
Or step into the water, leave the dry behind

Yesterday I was actually out playing with my new camera, the Optio W60. Yeah, I know. . I’ve been more than disappointed with their customer service AND I’m not all that pleased with the durability of previous Pentax Optios.  What they do well though is simply take the best photos.  So what are you to do?
