ships passing

The sun had still not risen. The three of us; Jeff, Hadas and I, sat around a small table inside the Tel Aviv airport. Jeff had to go through the gates in just a few moments. “I wonder when the three of us will sit around a table like this again?”, someone asked. Of course this is one of those questions that roll through everyone’s heads in this business. We make our friends these days all over the world, coming together only when fate allows another connection.
Jeff headed off. Hadas waited while I checked in and then we said our goodbyes. I watched as the very top of her head disappeared down the stairs and off into now rising dawn. “Here we are.”, I said to my head. “Back to real life. . . but different”. Better yet feeling a bit of a chill. Time to head home. I turned and walked toward the gate and hitched my backpack back up on my sholder. I exhaled. Moving on.

just got back in the door. . . Carmalite makes the heart grow fonder. . .
Hey guys it was great to share the week with you, the Carmalite moments came and went and as I departed from the coffee stand I realised that life really can be just like a pubic hair on the proverbial toilet seat, sooner or later your bound to be p—–d off! That time came as I realised the moment was over. A moment which was an absolute hoot and lasted for a whole week. But hey here’s to the next one. I’ll be seeing you both soon;) (You may need to edit that joke Derrick).
