If you know how to brace, you don’t have to roll.
If you know how to edge, you don’t have to brace.
If you can walk on water, you don’t have to edge.

    I can not understand the ad nauseum argument of rolling vs. not-rolling. This takes on the tone of a divisive social/political argument.

    Its seems like common sense, but people still argue against it, backing themselves into a corner. Arguing is obviously not the way forward. What’s the best thing to do? Ignore the obstinate I-don’t-need-to-roll people, and focus on teaching as many novices as possible?

    Maybe ignoring the obstinate “anti” crowd will help to marginalize a dangerous mindset.
