Each year the ACA presents the Joe Pina Award  to one or more  local or Divisional volunteers for extraordinary service.  Phil Rohrer of Two Rivers Wisconsin certainly qualified.  In many ways he single handily supplied the energy and inspiration that has made the North East Wisconsin Sea Kayaker’s group what it is today.  (I’m sure you may remember me telling the story of the legendary Current Design’s Flower pots of Two Rivers in the past!)  It’s great to see Phil get some recognition. . . even if it’s not a “Golden Cleric“.
