Engagement

I know it, thats how we start
Got some wild, wild life
Take a picture, here in the daylight
And its a wild, wild life
- talking heads
Life is a wonderful mix of imagery. Stark and colorful, cool and foggy, thrilling and tragic, subtle and brisk. It’s not as if we all don’t see the images around us, yet some are prone to a framed focus of a single point or element in the havoc. Browsing through the galleries of Daniel Belanger I get the feeling his Wild Image Project Expedition will be something to watch. Read More. Don’t overlook his flickr gallery. Wonderful images!
* images as you may have guessed by Daniel Belanger.
Patagonia Two-Step

So Yosale & the guys mentioned in passing that they heard there was a French team of kayakers who would also be paddling Patagonia while they were there. Yeah, it’s not so easy to find your own secret garden anymore! Well, I asked around a bit and could’nt find anyone who knew about the French team. Then I did what I should have done in the first place and seached the web!. So here you go. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to chat with Alexandre & Inti in the near future.
Bodyscapes
“Kayak” by Allan Teger
The thing about kayaking is, you just never know where it will take you. Artist & Photographer Allan Teger is a self-taught photographer who gained a reputation for his hand painted black and white prints. Bodyscapes is an expression of the repeating shapes of nature and the perception of two realities in co-existance. Unlike the double exposure & photoshop work we often see today, Teger creates these unique landscapes using toys and miniature “people” photographed directly on the human body. To see more “Bodyscapes” you can visit his website here. Mind you, Bodyscapes is a bit grown up.

Kayak Conflict

“The kayaks have just taken over,” she said. “It’s gotten worse and worse.”
I’m sure we’ll see more of this. In some areas the beaches available for kayaking and swimming are quite limited. The trick is figuring out how to “share the road”. Read More.
