5am Christmas Morn’

A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let’s hope it’s a good one
Without any fear
- lennon

It’s 5 AM this Christmas Morning, December 2008 and as is usually the case this time of day I am wide awake and the house is silent except for the sound of the fan blowing warm air into my otherwise frigid office. By now I’ve been up long enough to have thought I’d made coffee that would be ready when I got out of the shower, had taken the shower, and found I forgot to put water in the coffee pot! Time passes in strange ways before the dawn!

Here’s wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and allow me to let my hippie roots show and also wish you peace. . . (if just for one day.)

    Derrick,
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
It is a pity your Rockpool is not visible in the picture – it does have a season appropriate star ;)

I hate it when I forget to put water in the pot!

Merry Christmas, and thanks for the presents. :D

  • John Browning says:

It is better to have forgotten to put water in the pot than to forget to put the pot in it’s place to receive the fresh brew (which is now all over the counter and the floor)! (Haven’t done it lately, but have done that!)

Hope you had a very Merry one!

yeah me too. And the famous fill it up to the 10 cup line when the pot only holds about 9 and a half cups so the extra drains out the back and runs all over the counter.
