passing of time

Floating down the stream of time, of life to life with me
Makes no difference where you are or where you’d like to be

For those of you that have followed along for a few years now, you will know that this is the time of year where I get crazy busy with “real” life. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately my work tends to be un-affected by economic downturns. . (knock on wood). So the last couple weeks it’s been a challenge find the time to swim in the world of kayaking as much as I’d like. On the other hand, since when has this blog ever been just about kayaking??
Meanwhile I have posted a collection of foggy day images Devil’s Lake State Park here, written a bit about high-speed rail on my hometown blog, worked myself blind on a Chamber of Commerce website, been sick, got better, watched as Gryphon got sick, had a birthday, and got a bit better. . , taught a dog to heal, stayed up to watch Michael Palin travel around the globe, strolled a few miles of train tracks, made a list of all the things I should be doing, signed up for twitter, listened to the Beatle’s Yellow Submarine CD, was tempted to smoke a cigarette but didn’t, and learned more than I want to know from various psychologists that in the end mean a lot and solve little. Isn’t life grand!?
