Valley Goes Back To the.. Well,

Here’s what you’ll see if you visit Valley Sea Kayaks today. This is their website circa 2005 or so. If you search Valley Sea Kayaks on Google you’ll see : “Parallels H-Sphere Account has been suspended Account suspended. Account for domain valleyseakayaks.com has been suspended…” Now, this happens on the web. A server goes down, a host goes under, a payment is missed… whatever. Heck you can even lose your fancy new website and have to put up the old one until you can get all the back end stuff up again. If it were me, I’d put up a fresh little notice that something’s going on. Otherwise someone with a fragile mind might log in to buy a kayak and suddenly think they’ve slipped back in time.. Now you would’nt want the repercussions of that on your head would you? What did an Anas Acuta cost in 2005?

One of the rare occasions when paddling.net was useful.
Peter Orton explained that old site was activated due to problems with web developer moving code to different server and that server becoming dysfunctional. That is my synopsis, his explanation can be found here: http://www.paddling.net/message/showThread.html?fid=chat&tid=1178153#1178738
Thanks Marius.. Yeah, I really should browse paddling.net more..
