Quick Tip
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither while they pass, they slip away across the universe

No need to pontificate. Well other than to fill a bit of space and to satisfy the RSS feeds that ignore pictures. Did I say there was no need to pontificate? Oh, ok then. Sorry. Well, here’s the thing that there is no need to rabbit on about, but which can be addressed with 2 pictures. If you’re new to a Greenland paddle and you are trying to learn that whole sculling thing there is one common mistake you should avoid right off. It’s where you put your inside (my left, your right in the picture above.) hand. You should grip the paddle around the blade and not…

Not on the end of the blade as demonstrated above. Don’t worry about it. Gripping the end of the paddle is pretty much the standard for folks who first try sculling with a Greenland stick. Ok. That’s it. Nothing more. Have a great weekend.. oh, my typing fingers hurt! … What do mean blade size?

BTW, I picked up a 83″ paddle from Novorca based on your recommendation. It is beautiful!!
It’s super bouyant, plus I’m pretty sure it is significantly faster than my old cedar stick. OK, I’m not sure, but I FEEL totally fast when I’m using it. It seems to cavitate less than my old blade. Did I mention that it is beautiful?
RSS feeds don’t ignore pictures, it depends on your rss client. Google Reader uses them, I see em for sure.
and btw in your wordpress settings you can configure whether a stub or the whole article is available. If you check the show entire post checkbox, (or whatever) i can read your whole article in google reader. And further if you set up google webmaster tools, you can then see how many people are accessing your feeds.
