Any Colour You Like

And now a road connects the cul-de-sac
To the adjacent development
But there used to be trees stretching back
And there was no way through

So a friend noticed by new black Kokatat MSFit.. I actually left it in the box for a few days before I opened it. I’m giddy as an 8 year old over it and so thankful Kokatat could make it happen. Ah, now the thing is who do I refer people to who want a black MSfit of their own? Sorry, but you knew that was gonna happen! (What with slippery slopes and all that…)
For my part I’m happily wrapped up in exploring close to home as Wisconsin makes it’s transition from summer destination to Autumn spectacle. The problem of course is that the color show everyone is looking for is dependent on weather and can be anything from boring yellow to a vibrant rainbow of color. What’s more, the color can last a week or two, or peak for a couple days, then suddenly go brown. It’s all hit or miss. Some folks are so crazy into fall color they would probably consult a medium to figure out when the peak will be…. For my part I just drive around, paddle, hike and take pictures for the web. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it. This year I’ll be reporting color changes on my local twitter as well. I have this feeling that I’ll still get it wrong.
Oh, and then there’s this.. I’m always taken aback when I drive through large cities and there always seems to be at least on psychic driver who honks their horn just as the stop light turns green. I probably should say “Psychotic”, but be that as it may, I think I’ve made an astounding observation in need of a study and a large grant. Here in our little tourist town of 11,000 the Psychic horn honkers only appear from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Then just as quickly as they appear, they are gone. They also seem to be gone in early spring and late fall. In the winter months they again appear on their regular schedule but only when the skiing resorts are open and there has been a recent heavy snow… Vexing, isn’t it!?

It might be even more vexing than that… In Toronto, the traffic on the roads straight from the financial centre by the lake to the posh residential areas is all fast starts, last second stops, and lane changing. 2 miles west, going from the lake to the same residential areas but through the Portuguese and Italian “villages, it’s all smooth and easy going… Yes, the ItalianS – from the land of Ferraris and Maseratis and Alfa Romeos… Puzzling isnt’it?
Oh, that is quite interesting.. we really do need a study…
I think you should become a Kokatat dealer. And buy only items in black. I know the rep.
Yeah but who’s the UK rep? That’s where I need to get the black ones.. LOL!
