I'm glad that Tommy Bartlett continues to thrill youngsters and oldsters alike. My son is now, believe it or not, 16 years old, and time whips by and hairs get gray and crow's feet turn to crow's wrinkly feet. But we can all still enjoy The Dells, and I hope to drag my family, kicking and screaming, back to WI this summer 2011. Last time, it was Wilderness on the Mud (but they discounted our rooms--I almost lost my then 12 year old son when we crossed the three feet of mud to try and get to that broken house across the way). I would love to see photos of the lake from kayak level--you and your son might paddle it sometime. Can launch at the ramp for the Wilderness boat (the one that takes guests too and from the main lodge)...it's seldom there. Tommy Bartlett really took it on the chin the year of the mud, but I am glasd it's back to being the Greatest Show on H2O. It is a Dells mainstay, for sure. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Xmas.
