Watching drama unfold in the sea kayak community reminds me of two bald men fighting over a comb.

This is all an elaborate early april fools joke right?

If not, I guess all the grumbling about the dinosaur-like pace of the new BCU has finally gained enough steam for someone to do something about it.

Still, a little ridiculous. We are all parts of the same elephant, there is really no need for a new certification system. BCU, ACA, Paddle Canada, the Martian sea kayakers association whatever. They are all good, all have their particular strengths and weaknesses.

Sounds like a good idea. He has a huge task ahead of him if he’s looking to create a worldwide infrastructure to teach his award. Otherwise, why not just use the ACA or BCU?
