Thanks for all the great ideas. Duct Tape sounds fun.. I love anything that calls for the handyman's secret weapon.

Alex. That's not a bad idea, however when it fills with water I can't just lift or slide it out of the pool. I've tried before. On the other hand that might be at least good last resort. Better than just leaving it up on a shelf.

Yeah Kellie, I want to test paddle the fusion. I wanted to last year too. The problem is I don't know where to find one that you can test paddle. I don't remember seeing them at Rutabaga last year which is the only shop near me. I'll have to find one of those reps and slip 'em a bribe.. LOL!

Just plug up the drain plug hole permanently. You could either do a plastic weld to close it up or just plug it up with epoxy or something. It's a little boat so it should be easy enough to just lift it over your head to empty it. Heck, my Jackson Allstar doesn't even come with a drain plug since Eric Jackson doesn't like putting holes in his boats.

Will you be taking the pink beast out for a test paddle? I've got a 2nd hand Dagger Piedra for the pool, my spray skirt leaks like crazy. Stop it, you're making me want boat #4 (:

I believe duct tape will solve your drain plug problem, if not the installation of a new drain plug. Just ask Silbs how we solved his end pour problem on the spot. :)
