Reed Chillcheater gear is not something you find easily in the midwest. I came across my first Reed Touring Cag at Sea Kayak Georgia a couple years back. Since then I’ve purchased 2 more cags, shorts, pants, 2 skirts and more. Reed gear is tough, light and of course just good looking as well. If they are good enough for Freya Hoffmeister & James Bond they are good enough for me!

Here in the great white north a black Reed Cag is a perfect way to cut the wind and take advantage of the warmth of the sun. My Reed fleece is by far my favorite shirt around the house or as a warm up after an afternoon rolling session. While in Puerto Rico I wore Reed Aquatherm shorts & Reeds short sleeve rash guard shirt. They held up through hours of paddling. In fact even with the heat, I was happy to have a Storm Cag on one particularly rainy day.

What separates Reed gear from the others is their great looks, flexibility and tough as nails Aquatherm material. Again being a small company they offer great customer service.
