Photographs in this gallery were taken on the Wisconsin River above of the Wisconsin Dells dam from Crandalls Bay north through the Upper Dells, the Narrows and on to Witches Gulch and the Stand Rock area.  This is a beautiful section of the Wisconsin River but it can be quite dangerous for inexperienced paddlers.  Boat traffic & quickly changing conditions demand your attention. The best time to visit is in early spring (check for flooding first) and autumn when summer boaters are off the river.
