If it’s not fun, do something else!
The kayak is simply the catalyst by which we can expand our enjoyment the natural environment and where we continue to learn more about ourselves along the way. Kayaking first and foremost is simply a fun thing to do. It can be warm, quiet and relaxing or wet and wild. With your kayak you can explore the world around your home or you can explore the world! It’s all up to you. If you’ve been curious about sea kayaking or simply looking for a new adventure I’d encourage you to take a lesson.
I am located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, 45 minutes north of Madison & 15 minutes south of Wisconsin Dells. To learn more about my paddling background simply click here.
I am happy to offer private sea kayaking lessons for individuals & couples (2 students per class max) from a basic introduction to kayaking to more advanced skills such as Greenland Kayak Rolling. Each class is unique and customized to your personal goals. Kayaks, PFD & paddle are provided but I certainly encourage you to bring your own gear if you have it.
If possible private classes will be taught at Devil’s Lake State Park along the south shore beach where the water is clear and warm. A State Park sticker is required for your car.
