WISCONSIN LAKE MICHIGAN WATER TRAIL
   KEWAUNEE COUNTY

Kewaunee--the Kewaunee River entrance is approximately 16 miles north of Two Creeks. Immediately south of the southern break wall, and the river's entrance, is Kewaunee Beach Park--very nice big sandy beach.  Restrooms are near the playground equipment.  At the southwest corner of the break wall is a small patch of sandy "beach" that is suitable for launching/landing--and one could drive to within approximately 100 feet for loading/unloading.

Algoma--the Ahnapee River entrance is approximately 11 miles north of the Kewaunee River.  For launching and landing sites see camping section below.  Additionally, There's Olsen Park, on the river just north of Algoma on Hwy 42--easy launching and landing.
 

• Kewaunee Village Campground, 920-388-4851. Private campground on the Kewaunee River, approximately .5 miles from Lake Michigan. Laundry, showers, flush toilets.

• Kewaunee Marina (Campground), 920-388-3300. Private campground on the Kewaunee River, approximately .5 miles from Lake Michigan.  Laundry, showers, flush toilets.  Easy walk to several eating establishments.  Entering from the Lake, stay to river left, pass under the bridge (Hwy 42), and pull in at the boat ramps to your right--recommend the furthest up-river.  Short walk across the parking lot to the camping area.  But to register, either contact in advance, or go to the main building at the marina (follow footpath along the river and under the bridge, first building on your left).
